Hooded Voyager - Pixel Art Game Assets

Hey there! Welcome to my latest project, Hooded Voyager. I’m creating a set of unique, fluid character animations for pixel art games, and I’m super excited to share them with you. If you're into games like Empire of Earth, you're in the right place, but these assets can be used in all sorts of open-world or survival games too.

What makes Hooded Voyager different? Well, I’m not just creating the usual 8-frame walking animations. I’m pushing the boundaries a bit by offering a much smoother experience. Each animation is carefully crafted to feel more lifelike: We start with a 22-frame "Start Walking" sequence, then smoothly transition into an 8-frame "Start Walking to Walking" followed by 8 frames for actual Walking (loop), and finally wrap it up with another 22 frames for "Stop Walking." This approach gives you a more realistic flow of movement, which I think will make your characters feel more alive.

I’m working with a 128x128 pixel canvas to make sure everything is sharp and clear, with an 8-directional style so the animations can be used from all angles. Whether you're building a game set in an open world or a survival game, these animations will bring a great level of detail to your character movements.

Once you purchase, you’ll get all the animations in both GIF and sprite sheet formats. Everything is neatly organized into folders, and all files are named properly, so it’s easy to integrate into your project. The price is set at $1, and while I’m still learning, I’m putting a lot of effort into making these animations stand out. I hope you enjoy them as much as I’ve enjoyed creating them! In the future, I might offer individual animations for sale, but for now, you get the full package even if it is still in development.
